Dr. Hendrik Wahl

Dr. Hendrik Wahl started his study of engineering in materials science, specialising in electrical engineering materials, in 1979 at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. He completed his engineering studies in 1985 and finished his doctorate on electromechanical transducers in 1988 at a research laboratory for surface acoustic wave filters of the company Siemens AG in Munich.

Hendrik Wahl has been active in the fields of intellectual property rights since 1988. After completing his training to be a patent attorney, he was accredited as a German Patent Attorney in 1991 and as a European Patent Attorney in 1992. In the same year, he began working for the then IP law firm Zipse Habersack, which he joined as a partner in 1993. In 2005, Dr. Hendrik Wahl started a Master's degree course in mediation, at the distance-teaching university of Hagen which he completed successfully in 2007 as a "Master of Mediation".

The main technical focuses of his work are the fields of electrical engineering, guidance and control technology, telecommunications, semiconductor technology, conveyor/elevator technology and paper/textile production.
